The scientific study examines the concept of the “Theater of Cruelty” by famous French poet, theater and culture critic, play and film scriptwriter, artist, actor and director Antonin Marie Joseph Artaud (1896-1948). Having based on the Aristotle’s drama theory, it reveals the relationship between literature and theater, analyses unrepresentative body concept, its relationship to language and the transition to the visual realm, explores the assumptions of its appearance as well as studies the forms that are acquired by the concept of “the body without organs” in theoretical and practical fields.
